Shenzhen Soongon Technology Co., Ltd. and Peking University Filed a Patent for a 3D Printer for Polymeric Smart Material

According to the information from the China National Intellectual Property Administration, Shenzhen Soongon Technology Co., Ltd. and Peking University jointly applied for a patent titled “3D Printing Device and Method for Polymeric Smart Materials”, patent application number 2025 1 0632523.6, filed on May 2025. The patent has now been granted, with the authorization announcement number CN120206795B.

The patent abstract reveals that the disclosed 3D printing device and method for polymeric smart materials belong to the field of material manufacturing devices. The device is designed with a Y-axis motion mechanism on each side of the base. The lower end of the gantry is connected to the Y-axis motion mechanisms, while the upper end is laterally equipped with two X-axis motion mechanisms. Each X-axis mechanism is connected to a first Z-axis motion mechanism, and the mounting plate on the first Z-axis mechanism is fitted with at least two second Z-axis motion mechanisms. Each second Z-axis motion mechanism can accommodate various components such as nozzle assemblies, light source modules, and heating modules. The heating and conveyor structures of the worktable can be interchangeably installed on the base, and the roller brush structure can be mounted on either the heating or conveyor structure. This patent offers broad applicability, enabling multi-material composite printing or multi-functional collaborative processing, while achieving continuous printing and material transfer operations.

Shenzhen Soongon Technology Co., Ltd. has long been dedicated to R&D and manufacturing in the field of scientific 3D printing, with core patents covering multiple areas including color-mixing 3D printing (gradient material 3D printing), personalized veterinary drug 3D printing, polymer material 3D printing, and biomedical 3D printing. The company has accumulated extensive technical expertise and a mature product system in precision optimization, material compatibility, and functional customization of scientific 3D printing equipment.
